Belstaff fashion and Google+

In 1924, Harry Grosberg founded Belstaff in Vicoria Place Longston, Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire in the English Midlands. The original product line consisted of waterproof garments for men and women. For the company logo a portrait of a Phenix rising up was chosen as a symbol of the continuity through the time in the good and bad fate. Belstaff became the first company in the world to use a fabric tha was totally waterproof but breathable. This fabric is now the famous "Wax Cotton". This was a very fine Egyptian cotton treated with natural oils which makes it waterproof. The cotton is still left with excellent breathability characteristics. With this material, Belstaff specialized in the creation of high technology wear for the protection of the motorcyclist.
